Mike started DJing at the young age of 16 just after leaving school… a family friend was the DJ at the Café Royal on Regents Street in Central London, he went along one evening, was instantly hooked, and has never looked back since. Mike still enjoys entertaining as much today as he did when he started all those years ago.
Mike carries an extensive selection of audio and video tracks, from Rock & Roll, 60’s Motown, 70’s disco, 80’s Soul and Rare Groove, 80’s, Pop chart, 90’s Club Classics, Old School Garage, R’n’B and current chart… basically anything that sounds good and will make the dance floor ‘rock’.
Gone are the days when you had to selotape birthday pictures to the walls at a venue of the birthday boy or girl… today, all Mike would need is a memory stick with a selection of your favourite pictures, and he could show them on TV screens around the venue with music videos and messages mixed in to bring something a little different and special to your ‘big day’.
Mike was the video DJ for nine years at Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square and Haymarket in Central London, and he also had a nine year residency at Dover Street Restaurant and Wine Bar in Mayfair, working with some great tribute bands and 80’s Soul Diva Jackie Graham.
